This medication is used to supply the necessary vitamins D and B1 during times of physical fatigue, pregnancy, breastfeeding, post-illness or post-disease physical decline, growth periods, and old age. It is also effective in treating poor bone and teeth development and preventing rickets. With these effects, it helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and supports overall physical recovery.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals with an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe symptoms of renal failure should avoid taking this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take other medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids together with this medication. Women who are in treatment, pregnant or potentially pregnant, breastfeeding, premature infants or young children, patients with heart or circulatory system issues, those with kidney dysfunction, patients with low protein levels (hypoproteinemia), patients taking cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeats, or skin rashes occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Also, excessive intake may result in gastrointestinal disorders, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, swelling (edema), and prolonged use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone disease. Special caution should be taken when taken with medications like aldosterone antagonists or triamterene that may induce hyperkalemia. If an accidental overdose occurs, or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, consult a specialist. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed methods and dosages, and it is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during or around the time of taking this medication. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Also, to maintain quality and prevent misuse, do not transfer the medication to another container.
