The vitamins D and B1 contained in this medication help when experiencing physical fatigue, during pregnancy and lactation, and during and after illness. Additionally, it can be used during growth and old age to reinforce physical strength. Vitamin D is particularly effective in improving inadequate growth of bones and teeth, and in preventing rickets. Thus, this medication is widely used for nutritional supplementation and maintenance of health based on various physical conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, patients with sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease of unknown cause, and patients with renal diseases. Moreover, individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and patients with severe renal failure should also avoid taking it. When taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other drugs such as phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, and antacids at the same time. Women undergoing medical treatment, pregnant or possibly pregnant women, nursing women, premature infants and children, patients with heart or circulatory issues, patients with renal impairment, patients with hypoproteinemia, individuals taking cardiac glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, flushing, irregular heartbeats, or skin rashes occur while taking the medication, usage should be immediately discontinued and a professional consulted. Additionally, excessive dosage may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, edema, etc., and prolonged use may cause hypercalcemia and stones, so caution is necessary. In particular, there is a risk of hyperkalemia if taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene. It is recommended to adhere strictly to the dosage and to avoid consuming tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea before and after taking the medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry, and tightly sealed place.
