This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension that is not controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan and amlodipine, and is suitable for patients who must take rosuvastatin simultaneously. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination is effective in controlling blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunctive treatment in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia that is not controlled by diet and exercise. It also helps manage lipid levels in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. This medication reduces total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and contributing to the reduction of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization risks in patients with chronic cardiovascular disease risk factors. Therefore, it is very useful in the treatment of patients who require both blood pressure and lipid management.
