Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders and cognitive disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, etc.)
This medication is used to treat intermittent claudication caused by peripheral arterial circulation disorders. It also helps relieve symptoms of dizziness, vascular and degenerative tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Additionally, it is effective for the treatment of organic cognitive disorders including dementia symptoms such as tinnitus, headache, memory decline, concentration problems, depressive feelings, and dizziness. By improving these symptoms, it helps facilitate the daily life of patients.
① Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears): 40 mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract 3 times a day or 80 mg once a day, orally. ② Organic cognitive disorders: 40-80 mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract 3 times a day or 120 mg once a day, orally. Adjust as appropriate according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to certain ingredients. Its safety has not been sufficiently confirmed for children under 12 years of age, and it should not be used. Pregnant women must consult with a doctor before taking this medication. Patients with bleeding disorders or taking medications that affect blood coagulation should consult with a specialist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult before taking it, as it is unclear whether this medication is transmitted through breast milk. This medication contains certain dyes, so caution is warranted for those who are allergic to them. Individuals scheduled for surgery should discontinue this medication and consult with healthcare professionals. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking for more than 3 months, consult a specialist immediately. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and skin allergic reactions may occur while taking this medication; if any unusual symptoms appear, stop and consult. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching have been reported, so caution is advised if they occur. Severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, may rarely occur, requiring immediate medical treatment. This medication is not an antihypertensive agent, so patients with high blood pressure should receive separate treatment and cannot rely solely on this medication. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight in a sealed container.
