This medicine is used for cognitive decline related to atherosclerosis symptoms, such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

As ginkgo leaf dry extract, take 240 mg once daily, 1 tablet. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medicine contains ginkgo leaf dry extract as the main ingredient, and certain individuals should not take it. Individuals allergic to ginkgo leaf dry extract or any other ingredient in this medicine should not take it. Children and adolescents should not take this medicine because there is insufficient research on its effects for those under 18 years of age. It is also safer for pregnant women to avoid this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. While taking this medicine, it is advisable not to take certain medications, such as anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medicine may affect the metabolism of other drugs in the liver, so caution is necessary when taken with medications such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Individuals taking medications that carry a risk of bleeding or may induce bleeding should consult a doctor. Breastfeeding women should also consult a specialist regarding the transfer of this medicine into breast milk, as it is unknown. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious as there may be an increased risk of additional seizures when taking this medicine. Due to the risk of bleeding, if surgery is planned, this medicine should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior to the procedure.
