This medication is used in patients taking the combination of telmisartan and amlodipine who do not have adequate blood pressure control and must also take rosuvastatin. The telmisartan and amlodipine combination helps effectively control blood pressure and is suitable for the treatment of essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunctive treatment for patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia who are not controlled by diet alone. It is also utilized as an adjunctive treatment for patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia. This medication is used to lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, delay the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization procedures. Therefore, it is effective in improving both blood pressure and lipid management.
