This medication is used for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally once daily and should be administered at the same time each day. If necessary, it can be administered twice daily. Increase in dosage should be done by increasing 5 mg per week over the first 3 weeks. First week (Days 1-7): Administer 5 mg once daily. Second week (Days 8-14): Administer 10 mg once daily. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to the ingredients. It should also not be administered to patients with very poor liver or kidney function.
