This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not properly controlled even after administration of a combination of telmisartan and amlodipine. Additionally, it contains rosuvastatin calcium, which helps lower blood cholesterol levels as a dietary supplement for patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. It is particularly effective for various lipid disorders such as homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia. Furthermore, this medication reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and contributes to decreasing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and recurrence after vascular revascularization. Therefore, it is a very useful treatment for patients who need to manage both blood pressure and blood lipids simultaneously.
