This medication is used in patients who require simultaneous administration of telmisartan and amlodipine combination and rosuvastatin. The telmisartan/amlodipine combination is effective when controlling blood pressure is difficult with monotherapy for essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin helps when cholesterol and triglyceride levels are not controlled by diet and exercise, delays the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. In particular, it may lower the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and arterial revascularization procedures. For these reasons, this medication is used together for blood pressure control and cardiovascular disease prevention.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn during pregnancy, so treatment should be promptly discontinued once pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergies to any components of this medication or similar components, or a history of specific angioedema should not take this medication. Administration is contraindicated in patients with severe liver or kidney impairment, severe heart disease, and certain specific conditions. Caution is advised for the elderly, patients with very low blood pressure, and those with mildly impaired liver function when taking this medication. If symptoms such as muscle pain, weakness, or cramps occur during treatment, consult a physician immediately and undergo muscle-related tests if necessary. Regular liver function tests and muscle enzyme tests are recommended while taking this medication. When taken with other medications, interactions may increase the effects or side effects of this medication, so inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medications being taken. Women who may become pregnant should use proper contraceptive methods during treatment, and it is advisable not to take this medication while breastfeeding. This medication is not recommended for children under 18 years of age as its safety and efficacy have not been adequately established. In case of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, dizziness, and irregular heartbeat may occur, and immediate medical attention should be sought if such symptoms arise. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container.
