Precautions

This medication should be taken with caution to avoid exceeding 5,000 IU of vitamin A per day for women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as excessive intake of vitamin A may pose a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Those allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication, infants under 3 months old, and individuals with a history of allergies to soybean oil or peanuts should not take it. Infants under 1 year old, patients currently undergoing treatment, pregnant or lactating women, premature infants, and infants should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Especially for women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, it is important to avoid excessive intake of vitamin A and limit it to below 5,000 IU when necessary. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis, should also take this medication with caution. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching or rash, joint swelling, diarrhea, constipation, or loss of appetite occur during use, immediately stop taking and consult a specialist. Long-term use of high-dose vitamin A may increase the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, so caution is required. Adhere to the dosage, and when administering to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. This medication provides sufficient vitamin A through a normal diet, so in supplementary therapy, it should not exceed 5,000 IU. This medication may change urine to yellow and thus affect clinical test results; this should be noted. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders should regularly check plasma lipid levels and adjust the dosage as necessary. When using in conjunction with other lipid injections, the lipid intake should be considered and adjusted accordingly.
