It is also effective for alleviating inflammation around the mouth and tongue, such as angular cheilitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, and glossitis. It positively impacts skin-related issues such as eczema and dermatitis. Additionally, it is used to relieve muscle cramps caused by magnesium deficiency. In summary, this medication is widely used to improve various symptoms and conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 12 years and older: Take 20mL twice daily, between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to or have had hypersensitivity reactions to any of the ingredients. Moreover, infants under 12 months old and patients with severe kidney impairment should not take this medication. During treatment, medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids should not be taken simultaneously, and it is advisable not to concurrently take levodopa. Women who are undergoing treatment, pregnant, or possibly pregnant, breastfeeding women, premature infants, children, patients with heart or circulatory diseases, patients with kidney disorders, and patients with hypoproteinemia must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains caramel, so those who have allergies or hypersensitivity to caramel should use it cautiously. If symptoms like red spots on the skin, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, or central nervous system impairment appear while taking the drug, it should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. High doses of pyridoxine over a long period may cause nerve damage, requiring caution. Additionally, high doses of this medication may worsen peptic ulcers, cause issues with blood sugar control, increase uric acid levels in the blood, and lead to liver damage. Excessive intake can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, heart failure, and edema, so caution is needed. Taking this medication alongside aldosterone antagonists or triamterene can increase the risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, so caution is necessary. If the medication is taken incorrectly or if symptoms do not improve after one month, immediate consultation with an expert is required. It is vital to follow the prescribed dosage and administration; this medication can cause urine to turn yellow, affecting test results. It is advisable to avoid consuming tannin-containing beverages like green or black tea before and after taking this medication. Keep the medication out of reach of children and store it in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Do not transfer it to another container to maintain quality and prevent misuse.
