This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve blood pressure control with telmisartan and amlodipine combination therapy alone. Additionally, rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct in patients with hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia when dietary and exercise modifications are insufficient. It is also beneficial for patients with primary dyslipidemia and familial hypercholesterolemia, lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels to slow the progression of atherosclerosis. In high-risk patients with cardiovascular disease, it effectively reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and recurrence after arterial revascularization. Thus, this medication is used to improve both blood pressure and blood lipid control, supporting cardiovascular health.
