Essential hypertension is one of the major diseases characterized by elevated blood pressure, and this drug is used to control blood pressure in essential hypertension.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose is 30 to 60 mg once daily, taken regardless of meals. If blood pressure is not adequately controlled, the dose may be increased to 120 mg once daily. Precautions

There may be interactions when taken in combination with other antihypertensives, lithium, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), etc., so it is essential to consult with healthcare professionals. This medication is not recommended for breastfeeding women, and caution should be exercised in children and in elderly patients aged over 65 as its safety and efficacy have not been fully confirmed in these groups. In case of overdose, hypotension and arrhythmia may occur, so if symptoms arise, immediate medical attention should be sought. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers.
