Precautions
This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, those with sarcoidosis, or those with renal diseases. It should also not be used by individuals with allergic reactions to its components, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, or individuals with severe renal failure. This medication contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic conditions. During treatment with this medication, phosphates, calcium preparations, certain antibiotics such as tetracyclines, and antacids should not be taken concurrently. Infants under 1 year old, patients receiving medical treatment, children exposed to a lot of sunlight, pregnant or lactating women, and individuals with heart or kidney function issues should always consult a healthcare professional before use. Pregnant women should be particularly cautious, as the components of this medication can be transmitted through breast milk, potentially increasing blood calcium levels in the infant. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rashes, irregular heartbeat, or low blood pressure occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Overdosing or prolonged use of this medication can lead to elevated blood calcium levels and the development of kidney stones, so caution is required. Additionally, concurrent use with certain diuretics may dangerously raise blood potassium levels. Strict adherence to the prescribed dosage and instructions is necessary, and supervision is required when administering to children. It is advisable to avoid beverages containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry, sealed container to maintain quality.
