This medication is effective in alleviating fever and pain caused by a cold, including headaches, neuralgia, and muscle pain. It is also used to relieve menstrual pain and strain pain (sprain pain). How to take

Adult dose

Take 1-2 packets 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) as needed, placing directly on the tongue without water. Do not exceed 4 grams (8 packets) a day. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Child dose

Children aged 12 and older: Take 1-2 packets 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) as needed, placing directly on the tongue without water. Do not exceed 4 grams (8 packets) a day.

Precautions

This medication contains acetaminophen, which can put a strain on the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume three or more drinks a day should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If severe skin rash, blisters, or difficulty breathing occurs while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg. Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen or exceed the recommended dose. Do not take this medication if you have an allergy to acetaminophen or a history of peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, heart dysfunction, or aspirin-induced asthma. Additionally, individuals taking barbiturates or tricyclic antidepressants and those who have consumed alcohol should not take this medication. Individuals with liver or kidney diseases, peptic ulcers, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, heart dysfunction, a history of hypersensitivity, asthma, elderly individuals, pregnant or nursing women should consult a medical professional before taking this medication. If any serious adverse reactions occur, such as shock, severe skin rash, vomiting, bleeding, or difficulty breathing, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Long-term use of this medication requires regular blood tests and liver function tests, and it should not be taken with other anti-inflammatory analgesics. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should avoid taking it, and it should be stored in a cool, airtight container out of the reach of children.

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, anaphylactic reaction, skin rash, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, methemoglobinemia, cyanosis, facial swelling, hypotension, shock, asthma attack, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), chronic hepatic necrosis, liver damage, liver disease.

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pruritic (itchy) rash, rash, fixed rash, high fever, chronic hepatitis, acute pancreatitis, nephrotoxicity, abnormalities in the hepatobiliary system (e.g., elevated AST, ALT levels), prolonged bleeding time due to decreased platelet function, hyperlactatemia, and fatigue.
