Adult dose

As Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract, take 240 mg once daily, one tablet. It can be taken regardless of meals.

This medication contains Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract as the main ingredient, which may help improve memory and promote blood circulation. This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract or other ingredients in this medication. There is not enough research on safety for children and adolescents, so it should not be used by those under 18 years of age. It is safer for pregnant women not to take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic digestive disorders should not take it. Caution is needed when used in conjunction with anticoagulants, as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Additionally, this medication may affect enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, potentially altering the effects or duration of other medications. When taken with calcium channel blockers or specific asthma medications, there may be a risk of side effects due to changes in drug concentration, so careful observation is necessary. Individuals with bleeding disorders or taking medications that pose a high bleeding risk, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Patients with epilepsy may experience worsened seizures while taking this medication, hence they should consult their physician. If surgery is planned, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior to minimize the risk of bleeding. The duration of use should be maintained for at least 8 weeks based on symptoms; if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consult a physician. If abnormal symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, or skin rash occur during use, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Long-term use may increase the risk of bleeding, so caution is necessary. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, therefore patients with high blood pressure should avoid it unless special treatment is needed. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored securely in its original container.
