Precautions

This medication must be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day, as it may lead to liver damage. During treatment with this medication, it is possible to experience severe skin rash or blisters; if such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. The acetaminophen in this medication can cause liver damage if the maximum daily dosage is exceeded; therefore, do not exceed the recommended daily amount, and do not take it with other medications containing acetaminophen. Additionally, the pseudoephedrine in this medication may cause severe skin reactions; if you develop a fever, red spots, or small blisters, stop use and consult a specialist. People who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and those with severely impaired kidney function should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is safe not to consume cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Especially, children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic conditions, liver or kidney diseases, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, gastrointestinal problems, pregnant or nursing women, and individuals with specific cough symptoms should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, loss of appetite, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia occur while using this medication, stop use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication 5 to 6 times, it is necessary to consult a specialist. Children under 2 years of age should generally not take this medication, and if necessary, it should be done under medical guidance. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and instructions, do not use continuously for long periods, and avoid alcohol during treatment. Drowsiness may occur while taking this medication; avoid driving or operating machinery. Additionally, caution should be exercised as the breakdown of acetaminophen may slow down, increasing the risk of side effects when taken with certain drugs. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and not transferred to another container to maintain quality.
