Dosage

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injury, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: administer 200-600 mg once, orally, 3-4 times a day. A maximum of 3200 mg can be taken per day. For juvenile idiopathic arthritis: administer 30-40 mg per kg of body weight divided into 3-4 oral doses per day. Mild to moderate pain, cold: administer 200-400 mg once, orally, 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily, so it should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist. Patients with cardiac diseases or risk factors, or those taking it for a long time, may have an increased risk of serious cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction or stroke, so caution is needed. If cardiovascular symptoms occur while taking this medication, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. This medication can cause severe gastrointestinal issues such as bleeding, ulceration, or perforation, especially in the elderly or long-term users; therefore, patients should be vigilant for any abnormal symptoms during use. People with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, hypertension, known allergies to the components of this medication, or bronchial asthma should not take this medication. In the late stages of pregnancy, this medication should not be taken due to the risk of early closure of the ductus arteriosus in the fetus. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded, and it should not be used in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). If breastfeeding, consider discontinuing either the medication or nursing, as it may be transmitted through breast milk and cause serious adverse reactions in infants. Patients with blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney diseases, heart disease, hypertension, hypersensitivity, autoimmune diseases, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those taking specific medications should consult healthcare professionals before use. During use, if symptoms such as severe allergic reactions, skin rash, difficulty breathing, bleeding, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart problems, or neurological disturbances occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration necessary, and regular check-ups should be performed with long-term use. This medication may exacerbate hypertension; therefore, patients with congestive heart failure or impaired kidney or liver function should exercise particular caution. In cases of overdose, serious side effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver dysfunction, and renal failure can occur, necessitating immediate assistance from healthcare professionals.

Interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and naproxen derivatives, aspirin, or high doses of methotrexate. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking this medication with other NSAIDs, ACE inhibitors, lithium, furosemide and thiazide diuretics, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.
