This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive decline, such as decreased concentration, memory deterioration, and dizziness caused by arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo leaf extract, take 240 mg once daily. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains ginkgo leaf extract, which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals; therefore, those with hypersensitivity to this ingredient or other components should not take it. Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been sufficiently studied, so it is advisable not to administer this medication to children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Pregnant women should avoid this medication considering its potential effects on the fetus. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic metabolic disorders such as lactose deficiency, galactose intolerance, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Caution should be exercised when taking this medication along with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as the risk of bleeding may increase. Additionally, this medication may affect enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, which may alter the effects of medications such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline, so dosage adjustments and monitoring are necessary under a physician's guidance. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking high-risk medications for bleeding, nursing women, and patients with epilepsy must consult a professional before taking this medication. If scheduled for surgery, it is essential to discontinue this medication at least 36 hours prior to the procedure to reduce the risk of bleeding.
