This medication is used to improve constipation and relieve associated symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older and adults: 1 tablet per dose, taken 1 to 2 times a day (maximum 2 times) on an empty stomach. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. Initially, take the minimum dose and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction. Additionally, it should not be administered to children under 7 years of age or to patients with lactose intolerance or genetic lactose-related issues. During treatment with this medication, it is advisable not to consume antacids or milk, particularly within 1 hour after dosing. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women, those who may become pregnant, individuals taking other medications, and those following a sodium-restricted diet should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If skin rashes, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Furthermore, if abdominal discomfort or cramps develop, or if constipation does not improve after more than 1 week of use, stop taking this medication and consult a doctor. It is essential to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and, when administering to children, it should be under adult supervision. Children under 10 years old should preferably avoid this medication. This medication should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and it is important not to use for more than 1 week continuously to prevent drug tolerance or worsening constipation. Keep out of reach of children, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer to other containers.
