Antiseptic effect for the hands and arms of the surgeon, as well as the surgical site
This medication is used to thoroughly disinfect the surgical area of patients undergoing surgery and the hands and arms of the surgeon. This helps reduce the risk of infection during the surgical process and provides a safe surgical environment. Primarily used for the thorough sterilization and disinfection of the surgical area and the hands and arms of the surgeon.
Disinfection of the hands and arms of the surgeon: Take 5 mL of this medication and rub it on the hands and arms for about 5 minutes until enough lather is produced, then thoroughly rinse with running water. Disinfection of the surgical area: Apply this medication directly or use a suitable amount to rub it well to produce enough lather, then wipe it off with sterile gauze.
This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, patients who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients, patients with thyroid dysfunction, patients with reduced kidney function, newborns and infants under 6 months of age, patients with herpetic dermatitis, and patients undergoing radioactive iodine treatment should not use this medication. Additionally, elderly patients with severe illnesses or a history of thyroid disease, and patients with kidney function issues should use this medication with caution. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur with this medication, and if symptoms such as difficulty breathing, skin rash, or hives appear, use should be discontinued immediately. Skin pain, itching, rashes, or redness may occur, and in severe cases, skin ulcers or contact dermatitis may develop, so if symptoms worsen, use must be stopped. Using large amounts may lead to electrolyte imbalances, metabolic acidosis, or worsening kidney function, so caution is required. Long-term or excessive use may affect thyroid function and could change blood test results. When using this medication just before delivery, care should be taken to avoid contact with the newborn’s eyes, and it is advisable to check the newborn's thyroid function. When used on patients with extensive burns, hydration and kidney function should be closely monitored, and use should be discontinued if symptoms worsen. This medication can affect thyroid function tests, so it should be used with a gap of 1-2 weeks before and after testing. Patients undergoing lithium treatment should not use this medication regularly, and caution should be exercised as its efficacy may be reduced when used with other specific drugs. Pregnant or nursing women should avoid long-term or extensive use, as it may affect the thyroid function of the fetus or newborn, necessitating testing. In case of overdose, severe symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, or coma may occur, requiring immediate hospital attention and appropriate treatment. Care should be taken to avoid this medication coming into contact with the eyes, and if it does, it should be rinsed immediately with clean water. Do not mix with other medications and ensure to clean the affected area thoroughly before use, and soap should be completely removed. Store away from direct sunlight, and it is preferable to keep it in synthetic resin containers rather than metal ones. Lastly, caution should be taken during vaginal use as it may elevate blood iodine levels.

This medication may be sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a light-blocking container. Additionally, it is safe to store the medication at room temperature, between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Avoid storing in excessively hot or cold environments.
