This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive decline such as decreased concentration, memory impairment, and dizziness due to arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Leaf Extract, take 240 mg once a day, 1 tablet per dose. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo Leaf Extract, so individuals allergic to this ingredient or any other ingredients in this medication should not take it. The safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been sufficiently studied; therefore, children and adolescents under 18 years old should not use it. It is safer for pregnant women not to take this medication. This medication contains lactose; thus, individuals who have issues with lactose digestion or have certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. During treatment, it is advisable not to take anticoagulants or blood-thinning medications together, as this may increase the risk of bleeding. Additionally, this medication may affect the enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, potentially changing the effects or duration of other medications. Caution should be taken when combining it with certain drugs, especially calcium channel blockers or theophylline, as it may affect drug concentrations. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that increase bleeding risk should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Nursing women should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as it is uncertain whether it passes into breast milk. This medication may worsen seizures in patients with epilepsy; therefore, such patients should consult a doctor before taking it. If surgery is planned, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior to surgery to reduce bleeding risk. This medication should be taken for a minimum of 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, a doctor should be consulted. If any adverse reactions such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, confusion, skin rash, itching, etc. occur during treatment, one should consult a doctor immediately. Long-term use may cause bleeding, so caution is necessary. This medication is not an antihypertensive, so hypertensive patients should not use it for special treatment purposes. Store out of reach of children, and keep medications in their original containers to maintain their quality and safety.
