This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive decline such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness caused by arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Biloba extract, take 240 mg once daily; 1 tablet at a time. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo Biloba extract; therefore, individuals allergic to this substance or any other ingredients in the medication should not take it. Moreover, there have not been sufficient safety studies for children and adolescents, so it is advisable that children and adolescents under 18 years of age do not use this medication. Pregnant women are advised not to take this medication, and since it contains lactose, those with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid it. While taking this medication, do not take it with anticoagulants or blood-thinning medications, and be especially careful when taking it with other drugs that may interact, such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that may increase bleeding, nursing women, and patients with epilepsy should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If surgery is planned, stop taking this medication at least 36 hours before, and if symptoms do not improve after taking for more than 8 weeks, consult a doctor. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, or skin rash occur while taking this medication, consult a healthcare professional immediately, as a severe allergic reaction may rarely occur. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so patients with high blood pressure require separate treatment. Finally, keep this medication out of reach of children, and store pharmaceutical products in their original containers to maintain quality and safety.
