This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive decline such as decreased attention, memory impairment, and dizziness caused by arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo leaf dry extract, take 240 mg once daily, one tablet at a time. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo leaf dry extract as the main ingredient, and individuals allergic to it should not take this medication. There is insufficient safety research on children and adolescents, so this medication should not be taken by children and adolescents under 18 years old. Pregnant women are also advised not to take this medication. Additionally, since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic issues should avoid this medication. During treatment with this medication, it is important not to take it in combination with anticoagulants or certain calcium channel blockers and theophylline. This medication may affect the metabolism of other drugs, resulting in an increased or decreased efficacy, so caution is necessary. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that may increase bleeding should consult their physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women are also advised to consult a professional before taking this medication. Patients with epilepsy should exercise caution when taking this medication as seizures may worsen. Since the risk of bleeding may increase while taking this medication, if surgery is planned, it should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior. The duration of treatment should last at least 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consultation with a physician is recommended. Nausea, headache, insomnia, skin rash, and other adverse reactions may occur during use, and severe allergic reactions may also occur.
