Precautions

This medicine contains Ginkgo Biloba extract, which may help improve blood circulation. However, individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication should not take it. Additionally, due to insufficient safety studies in children and adolescents, it should not be taken by those under 18 years of age. It is also safest for pregnant women not to use this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. During the use of this medication, it is important not to take it together with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication may affect various drug metabolic enzymes in the liver, potentially altering the effects or duration of other medications. In particular, caution is necessary when combined with calcium channel blockers, as there is a risk of increasing their blood concentrations. When taken with oral theophylline, it may affect drug excretion, reducing its efficacy, necessitating dosage adjustment and monitoring. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking medications with a high risk of bleeding should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Nursing mothers are also advised to consult with a specialist before using this medication. Caution is needed as this medication may worsen seizures in individuals with epilepsy. If surgery is planned, it is advisable to stop taking this medication at least 36 hours before to reduce the risk of bleeding. The duration of use should be at least 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consult a physician. During treatment, adverse reactions such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, confusion, skin rash, itching, and dizziness may occur, so immediate consultation with a specialist is required if any abnormal symptoms appear. Long-term use may increase the risk of bleeding, so caution is advised. Side effects such as dizziness or itching have also been reported, so caution is warranted. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis can rarely occur, so immediate medical attention is required if any unusual symptoms develop. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so patients with high blood pressure should receive separate treatment. Lastly, keep this medication out of reach of children and do not store it in a different container from its original packaging to prevent misuse or degradation of quality.
