How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract, take 240 mg once daily. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract, and certain individuals should refrain from taking it. Firstly, individuals allergic to this medication should avoid taking it, and safety has not been sufficiently established for children and adolescents; thus, it should not be used by those under 18 years of age. Pregnant women should also refrain from taking this medication. Additionally, this product contains lactose, so patients with genetic disorders that affect lactose digestion should not take it. During the use of this medication, it is essential not to use it in conjunction with anticoagulants. This medication can affect the metabolism of other drugs; caution is needed when used alongside some antihypertensive drugs or asthma medications due to the risk of changes in drug concentrations. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that induce bleeding, nursing mothers, and patients with epilepsy must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If a surgery is impending, it is advisable to discontinue this medication at least 36 hours prior to reduce the risk of bleeding. The duration of use should be maintained for at least 8 weeks depending on symptoms, and if symptoms do not improve after 3 months or worsen, a consultation with a physician is necessary. During treatment, abnormal reactions such as nausea, headaches, insomnia, and skin rashes may occur, and if severe allergic reactions happen, one should immediately stop taking the medication and consult medical personnel.
