This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive decline such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness.
As Ginkgo leaf dry extract, take 240mg once daily, one tablet. Can be taken regardless of meals.
This medication is made from Ginkgo leaf dry extract. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to Ginkgo leaf dry extract or any other ingredients in this medication. Additionally, safety in children and adolescents has not been fully confirmed, so it is advisable not to take this medication for individuals under 18 years of age. It is also safe for pregnant women to avoid using this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic problem that prevents lactose digestion should avoid taking it. During the period of taking this medication, it is important not to use blood thinning medications or anticoagulants. Moreover, this medication may affect the metabolism of other drugs in the liver, so caution is required when used with drugs such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Individuals taking medications that pose a bleeding risk or increase bleeding should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. For individuals who are breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult a specialist as the effects of this medication on breast milk are not known. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious as this medication may increase the frequency of seizures. If surgery is pending, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior to decrease the risk of bleeding. The duration of treatment should be for at least 8 weeks depending on the symptoms, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, a consultation with a physician is recommended. During treatment, symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, and confusion may occur, and rarely, skin rash or allergic reactions may arise, so it is essential to consult a healthcare professional immediately if unusual symptoms occur. Long-term use may lead to bleeding, so caution is needed. Side effects such as dizziness or itching have also been reported, so inform healthcare professionals if such symptoms arise. This medication is not antihypertensive, so hypertension patients should use other medications for special treatment.
