Precautions

This medicine may pose a risk of congenital malformations to the fetus if excessive vitamin A is administered to women in the first three months of pregnancy or of childbearing potential, and should not exceed 5,000 IU per day. Those allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine, infants under 3 months of age, and individuals allergic to soy oil, soybeans, or peanuts should avoid taking it. Infants under 1 year of age, patients undergoing treatment by a physician, pregnant or breastfeeding women, premature infants, and children should consult healthcare professionals before using this medicine. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, and pancreatitis should use this medicine cautiously. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, dry and rough skin, joint swelling, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea, or rash occur during usage, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Care should be taken as women experiencing heavier than usual menstrual flow or prolonged bleeding may have an increased risk of thrombosis when using oral contraceptives. Postmenopausal women should be cautious of long-term high-dose vitamin A intake, as it may increase the risk of osteoporosis. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when administering to children. Vitamin A in this product is sufficiently supplied by regular meals; thus, it is safe not to exceed 5,000 IU as a supplemental therapy. During use, urine may turn yellow, which may affect clinical test results; this should be noted. Patients at risk of lipid overload should periodically check plasma lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary, and consider total lipid intake when taking other lipid medications. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medicine, do not transfer to another container.
