This medication is used to improve cognitive decline that occurs with symptoms such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Biloba Extract, take 240 mg once a day as a single dose. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo Biloba Extract as the main ingredient, and certain individuals should avoid taking it. First, individuals who are allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medication should not take it. Also, safety has not been sufficiently established for children and adolescents, so minors under 18 years of age should not take it. Women who are pregnant should also refrain from taking this medication for safety reasons. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues related to lactose or galactose should avoid it. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with anticoagulants that control blood coagulation. This drug may affect enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, which can change the effect or duration of other medications. Particularly, when taken with calcium channel blockers or theophylline, drug concentration and effects should be closely monitored and adjusted. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that induce bleeding should consult with a physician. It is also advisable for breastfeeding women to consult with a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with epilepsy need to be cautious as this medication may exacerbate seizures. The risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication, so if surgery is planned, it should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior.
