Precautions

This medication contains components extracted from ginkgo leaves, and should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to specific components. There is insufficient research on safety and efficacy in children and adolescents, so it is recommended that individuals under 18 years of age do not take this medication. Pregnant women should avoid taking this medication due to potential effects on the fetus. This medication contains lactose; individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it. Caution is required when taking this medication with anticoagulant drugs, as it may intensify their effects. Furthermore, this medication can affect the metabolism of other drugs in the liver, so when taken with certain blood pressure medications or asthma drugs, there may be a risk of altering drug concentrations, thus requiring adherence to a doctor's guidance. Individuals who are at risk of bleeding or taking medications that may cause bleeding must consult a healthcare professional prior to using this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use, as it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk. Patients with epilepsy should exercise caution, as this medication may exacerbate seizures. The risk of bleeding may increase while taking this medication; if surgery is planned, it should be discontinued at least 36 hours in advance. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, one should consult a doctor within three months to determine whether to continue taking it. If symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, or allergic reactions occur during use, seek professional consultation immediately. There have been reported cases of bleeding with long-term use, thus caution is necessary. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching may occur, so careful observation is recommended. This medication is not a hypertension treatment; therefore, hypertension patients requiring special treatment should consult a doctor separately.
