Qerac (L-Carnitine)

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 2~3g of L-carnitine per day orally in 2~3 divided doses. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to it. Temporary symptoms like nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and body odor may occur during ingestion. Skin rashes, hives, and facial swelling may also appear, so caution is advised. Symptoms of muscle weakness have been reported in patients with poor kidney function who take this medication. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety is not assured. Women who are breastfeeding should use this medication cautiously, as it may be passed into breast milk. Finally, this medication must be diluted before ingestion, and it should not be taken directly without dilution.

This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a light-proof container. Additionally, it should be kept at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, avoiding excessively hot or cold places.
