Precautions

Patients who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication due to the risk of liver damage. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if a rash or allergic reaction occurs, use should be discontinued immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg; care should be taken not to exceed this dosage, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Since it contains pseudoephedrine, if skin eruptions or pustules appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those taking certain antidepressants, or patients with severe kidney disease should not take this medication. Additionally, it is safe to avoid taking this medication simultaneously with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Infants and children infected with chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic predispositions or certain diseases, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult an expert before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a medical professional; urgent treatment may be required for severe symptoms. In principle, children under 2 years of age should not take this medication, and if necessary, medical consultation should be sought. When taking this medication, adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid long-term use and alcohol consumption. Moreover, caution is necessary when taking this medication with certain other drugs, as the risk of side effects may increase, and consultation with an expert is needed. Store this medication out of reach of children, keep it away from direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer the medication to other containers.
