How to take

Adult dose

For individuals 15 years and older: 1 tablet per dose, taken three times a day 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may place a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rashes, blisters, or itching occur during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. As it contains acetaminophen, care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. This medication should not be taken by individuals with known allergies to it or its components, those who have previously experienced asthma, infants under three months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications. Do not use this medication in conjunction with other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with an allergic constitution, or those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should consult with healthcare personnel before use. If symptoms such as rash, nausea, vomiting, swelling, or dizziness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult healthcare personnel. Particularly rare but serious symptoms such as anaphylactic shock, severe skin reactions, asthma attacks, liver dysfunction, and pneumonia may occur, so caution is advised. Children under two years of age should not use this medication except in special cases, and the dosage must be strictly adhered to. Avoid long-term use of this medication, avoid alcohol while taking it, and be cautious when using with certain medications as it may increase the risk of side effects. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and not transferred to other containers.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • High fever accompanied by severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain of oral/eye mucous membranes → severe skin reactions
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, cough accompanied by fever → respiratory issues
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver dysfunction (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
