Relief of pain, itching, and swelling associated with anal fissures and hemorrhoids
This medication is used to temporarily relieve symptoms of pain, itching, swelling, and bleeding caused by anal fissures and hemorrhoids.
Adults (15 years and older): Apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day or use suppositories in the rectum. When using in the rectum, insert the applicator attached to the tube.
Children under 15 years old: Apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used on infected or pus-filled wounds. It is advisable for individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, thyroid issues, diabetes, and urinary difficulties due to prostatic hypertrophy to avoid using this medication. Additionally, this medication can be passed through breast milk, so breastfeeding individuals should avoid using it. Certain medications should not be taken with this medication, such as dl-Methylephedrine Hydrochloride, any medications containing scopolamine, antihypertensives, or antidepressants. Pregnant women or those who might become pregnant and individuals currently receiving medical treatment must consult with a healthcare provider before using this medication. If skin redness, swelling, irritation, or signs of infection occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, and in severe cases, anaphylactic shock may occur, so if these symptoms appear, stop use and visit a hospital immediately. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, it is advisable to stop use and consult a physician. If bleeding or blurred vision occurs, discontinue use immediately. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and method, and when used in children, it should be under adult supervision. It should be applied only to the anal area and not to the eyes. Because of the corticosteroid component, vision disturbances may occur, so if blurred vision or abnormal symptoms arise, consult an ophthalmologist. Store in a closed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a dry and cool place. It is also important not to transfer the medication to another container to prevent misuse.
Severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock)
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not use this medication with dl-Methylephedrine Hydrochloride, scopolamine-containing drugs, or creams and ointments containing glycyrrhizin. Additionally, do not take with antihypertensives or antidepressants.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. The storage temperature should ideally be maintained between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
This medication is a white to pale yellow ointment.
