Precautions

This drug contains Ginkgo Leaf Extract as the main ingredient and should not be taken in certain cases. First, individuals allergic to this drug or its components should not take it. Also, safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently studied in children and adolescents, so it should not be taken by those under 18 years of age. Pregnant women are also advised not to take this medicine. Additionally, this medicine contains lactose and should not be taken by individuals with genetic diseases that prevent the digestion of lactose. While taking this medicine, it is important not to take it with blood thinners or anticoagulants; doing so may excessively enhance the effect that prevents blood clotting. Moreover, this medicine may affect enzymes in the liver responsible for breaking down other drugs, which poses a risk of altering the effects of specific medications such as blood pressure medication or asthma treatment when taken together. In these cases, dosage adjustments and careful monitoring of condition should be done under a doctor's guidance. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that could cause bleeding must consult with a specialist before taking this medicine. Breastfeeding women should also seek advice from a specialist as it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk. Moreover, caution is required for epilepsy patients as this medication may increase the frequency of seizures. If surgery is approaching, the ingestion of this medicine should be stopped at least 36 hours prior to reduce the risk of bleeding. The medication is usually taken for a period of more than 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, the doctor should be consulted. While taking this medication, symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, and confusion may occur, and allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching can also occur, though rarely. In severe cases, an allergic shock can occur, so if any abnormal symptoms are observed, immediate consultation with a specialist is required. This medicine is not an antihypertensive treatment, so hypertensive patients should not use this medication without special treatment needs. Finally, this medicine should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container to maintain quality and prevent misuse.
