Therefore, Vitamin D is used in these situations to maintain bone health and improve growth deficiencies.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 2 tablets once a day

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, known systemic inflammatory diseases such as sarcoidosis, or kidney diseases. Additionally, individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should also refrain from using this medication. During treatment, it is recommended to avoid taking medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, or antacids. Patients undergoing treatment or women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Particularly, caution is necessary as Vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia in newborns through breast milk. Patients with heart and circulatory function disorders, kidney issues, hypoalbuminemia, those taking digitalis glycosides, or individuals with a history of kidney stones should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Caution is needed when taking with antagonists of aldosterone or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia.
