This medication is primarily used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with various joint disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It is also effective for reducing fever and pain caused by colds, lower back pain, menstrual pain, and pain that occurs postoperatively. Additionally, it can be used for various acute and chronic pain conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia. In children, it is used to reduce fever due to acute upper respiratory infections. It is used to effectively improve various types of pain and inflammatory disorders.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, extra-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Take 200-600 mg orally in 3-4 divided doses per day, with a maximum daily dose of 3200 mg. Mild to moderate pain, cold: Take 200-400 mg orally in 3-4 divided doses per day, adjusting the amount according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

Patients who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. The risk of gastrointestinal bleeding may increase when this medication is taken by individuals who consume large amounts of alcohol. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Special caution is needed for individuals with a history of heart disease or stroke, and careful monitoring is required for long-term use. Patients with high blood pressure or poor cardiac function should exercise caution when taking this medication, and high doses should be avoided. This medication can cause serious problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so older adults or those on long-term therapy should closely monitor their gastrointestinal condition. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, severe liver, kidney, or heart diseases, or allergies to this medication's ingredients should not take it. Patients with bronchial asthma or a history of hypersensitivity to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should also avoid this medication. Pregnant women in late pregnancy should avoid this medication as it may harm the fetus. When taking this medication, patients should not exceed the recommended dosage and it is advisable not to take it concurrently with other NSAIDs. Breastfeeding women should either discontinue breastfeeding or the medication, as it may affect the baby via breast milk. This medication should be taken for the shortest duration at the minimum effective dose, and regular monitoring by a healthcare professional is necessary for long-term use. In case of overdose, severe symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver function abnormalities, and renal failure may occur, requiring immediate medical attention. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored safely in its original container.
