Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Men: After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 1g (about half the cap of this medication) twice a day (morning and evening) for at least 2 to 4 months, only on the affected area. Total daily dosage should not exceed 2g. Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under 18 years of age or by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.   • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa

  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy
  • Sudden and severe headaches, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis
  • Significant decrease in urine output.

Mild side effects

  • Skin itching, scaling, erythema, dermatitis, dry skin, hypertrichosis, folliculitis, burning sensation, rash, peeling, hair loss, skin abscess, acne, nail abnormalities, seborrhea, eczema, hair abnormalities
  • Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
  • Chest pain, low blood pressure, pulse changes, palpitations, increased heart rate, pericardial effusion, pericarditis, cyanosis, tachycardia, exacerbation of angina
  • Bronchitis, upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, shortness of breath, breathing difficulty
  • Fractures, abdominal pain, tendinitis, pain.

Storage
