Hemostatic effect for bleeding (small vessels, capillaries, solid organs)
IYAN Thrombin lyophilized powder 5000 units is used primarily when bleeding occurs in small vessels, capillaries, and solid organs. For example, it effectively aids hemostasis in situations where bleeding is difficult to control, such as trauma or surgery-related bleeding, bone bleeding, bladder bleeding, post-extraction bleeding, and nasal bleeding. This medication promotes the natural blood coagulation process to quickly stop bleeding, thereby ensuring patient safety. In other words, it is useful in treating various types of bleeding. Additionally, the direct injection device is a tool used for the direct injection of the solution into the patient, supporting accurate and safe medication administration in medical settings.
Spray, instill, or apply the powder directly to the site of local bleeding as a solution dissolved in saline (50–1,000 units/mL of thrombin). Adjust appropriatly according to the site and extent of bleeding.
This medication should not be used as an injection formulation, and extreme caution must be taken to ensure it does not enter the bloodstream even when applied locally. Incorrect intravenous administration can lead to blood clotting, causing serious problems, and there is a risk of severe allergic reactions. If this medication is made from components derived from cattle, there may be abnormal coagulation test results, or rarely, serious bleeding or thrombosis can occur. Patients with a history of allergy to this medication or its bovine-derived components, or those taking specific coagulation-related medications, should not use it. Patients with severe liver dysfunction or conditions that affect blood coagulation, as well as pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, should use it with caution. Rarely, symptoms of shock such as difficulty breathing and low blood pressure may appear when using this medication, so patient condition should be carefully monitored. Additionally, if symptoms of allergic reactions such as abnormal coagulation, bleeding, rash, or itching occur, the use should be discontinued immediately. It is advisable to avoid combination with specific other medications due to an increased risk of thrombosis. Pregnant women should use this medication only when the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety is not fully confirmed. Safety for children or newborns has also not been fully established. When used in solution form, care should be taken to avoid intravenous entry, and it should be used immediately after preparation, as efficacy may diminish due to exposure to acids, heat, or heavy metals. This medication should only be used with a dedicated syringe, and opened or contaminated products should not be used. Using expired products or reusing them is extremely risky, so they should only be used as single-use.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to avoid exposure to air. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature to well preserve the effect and safety of the medication.
