Adult dose

As ginkgo biloba dry extract, take 240 mg once daily, one tablet per dose. It can be taken regardless of meals.

This medication contains ginkgo biloba dry extract and should not be taken by certain individuals. First, those who have allergic reactions to this medication or its components should avoid taking it. Additionally, this medication has not been adequately studied for safety in children and adolescents, so it is advisable not to use it in individuals under 18 years old. Pregnant women should also refrain from taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. During the use of this medication, it should not be taken with blood-thinning medications or certain anticoagulants. Moreover, this medication may affect the metabolism of other medications in the liver, so caution is needed when taking it with calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Patients at risk of bleeding or taking medications that may induce bleeding should consult a doctor. Women who are breastfeeding should consult a professional since it is uncertain whether this medication is passed into breast milk. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious, as taking this medication may lead to more frequent seizures. If surgery is planned, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior to reduce the risk of bleeding. The treatment duration should be at least 8 weeks based on symptoms, and if symptoms do not improve after 3 months, a doctor should be consulted. If any adverse reactions such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, or skin rash occur during use, immediate consultation with a professional is advised. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so patients with high blood pressure should not take it.
