Adult dose

Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. For patients in whom tadalafil 10mg does not provide sufficient effect, 20 mg may be tried. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once daily. Long-term safety after extended daily dosing has not been established, and because the effects of this medicine usually last for more than a day, continuous daily administration of this medicine is strongly discouraged. [See section 1. Warnings and 12.1) Pharmacodynamic Properties] Use in elderly men Dose adjustments are not required in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment Dose adjustment is not required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose in patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See 12.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. Since clinical data on the safety of this product in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited, the physician should carefully assess the individual benefit/risk when prescribing it. There are no data on administering doses higher than 10mg to patients with hepatic impairment. [See section 3. Patients Requiring Caution and 12.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with diabetes Dose adjustment is not required in patients with diabetes.

Child dose

This medicine should not be used in persons under 18 years of age.

This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, and its efficacy only appears when there is sexual stimulation. Before taking, a doctor should confirm the patient's medical history and physical condition to accurately diagnose the cause of erectile dysfunction. Patients with heart diseases or high cardiovascular risk must be cautious as sexual activity may put strain on the heart. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, immediate medical assistance should be sought, as untreated may lead to penile tissue damage and loss of erection ability. This medication should not be used with nitrate medications, as it can lead to dangerously low blood pressure, and is not suitable for patients taking nitrates. Patients who have recently suffered from severe cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure, or stroke should not take this medication. Patients with hereditary retinal disorders or those allergic to any ingredients in this medication should also avoid taking it. Co-administration with other erectile dysfunction treatments is not recommended as their safety has not been established. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, or those taking certain blood pressure medications, should use this medication cautiously under medical advice. While taking this medication, side effects such as headaches, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle aches, facial flushing, and so on may occur. Rarely, serious side effects such as heart attack, stroke, vision loss, or hearing reduction have been reported, so immediate consultation with medical staff is necessary if symptoms arise. This medication is not to be used in pregnant women, nursing mothers, or children. Consumption of alcohol with this medication may exacerbate blood pressure drops and dizziness, so caution is advised. In case of overdose, immediate medical treatment should be sought, as this medication is not easily removed by dialysis. Keep this medication out of reach of children and store it in its original packaging.

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to protect it from air and moisture, and it is best stored at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way can prolong the medication's effectiveness.
