Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in women in the first three months of pregnancy or with the potential for pregnancy, as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A per day may pose a risk of congenital malformations. Patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney disease, individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication, infants under 12 months old, individuals with Wilson's disease, kidney stone patients, and severe renal failure patients should not take this medication. During treatment, this medication should not be taken together with phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, or levodopa. If receiving treatment from a doctor or having specific conditions such as hyperoxaluria, peptic ulcers, chronic ulcerative colitis, heart and kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, gallbladder and liver diseases, or gout, you must consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, joint pain, diarrhea, low blood pressure, cardiac irregularities, or coma occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, attention is needed for changes in menstruation or prolonged bleeding, increased risk of thrombosis when taking oral contraceptives, and possible tolerance development with prolonged high-dose use. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and dosing schedule, as vitamin A included in this medication is sufficiently supplied through the regular diet; therefore, do not exceed 5,000 IU per day. Avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, during use, and exercise caution before and after examinations as they may affect urine test results. Store out of reach of children, in a tightly sealed container, avoiding direct sunlight, in a cool place with low humidity. Furthermore, do not transfer into other containers to maintain quality.
