How to take

Adult dose

Administer 50 mg of sumatriptan as a single oral dose. In a small number of patients, a dose of 100 mg may be required. If symptoms recur after the initial dose, it can be taken again, but the interval between doses should be at least 2 hours. Do not exceed a maximum of 300 mg within 24 hours. This medication should be taken orally with water.

Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of migraines and should not be used in patients with certain diseases or conditions.
