This medication contains flurbiprofen and should not be used in certain patients. Patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or other flurbiprofen formulations should avoid its use. Patients with a history of asthma attacks triggered by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, known as aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease, should also avoid this medication. Bronchial asthma patients should be careful when taking this medication, as there is a possibility of asthma attacks occurring. While using this medication, symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, burning sensation, or contact dermatitis may occur. If such symptoms appear, usage should be stopped immediately. Additionally, if initial symptoms of an asthma attack, such as wheezing or difficulty breathing, appear, usage must be discontinued. Asthma attacks may occur within hours after applying the patch. Using this medication with skin infections may not show visible signs of infection; therefore, appropriate antibacterial or antifungal treatment should accompany it, and the condition should be monitored closely. When used for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, other treatment options should also be considered alongside medication, and vigilance is required to monitor the patient for potential side effects. In the third trimester of pregnancy, it should not be used as it may harm the fetus’s heart and kidneys and may prolong bleeding or delay labor during childbirth. There is insufficient evidence for the safety of this medication in children, so caution is advised due to limited experiences. Elderly patients should use this medication carefully while closely monitoring their skin condition. This medication should not be applied to areas with wounds, damaged skin, mucous membranes, eczema, or rash, and it is important to clean the sweat from the application area thoroughly before use.
