Prevention and improvement of bone growth disorders and rickets
Vitamin D is especially required during pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth periods, and old age; hence, sufficient intake of Vitamin D during these periods is important. The Vitamin D contained in this medication is effective in preventing underdevelopment of bones and teeth, as well as rickets. Therefore, Vitamin D supplementation is necessary for growing children and individuals for whom bone health is important, and it is used for overall improvement of bone health.
Take 1 tablet once a day.
Children aged 8 years and older should take 1 tablet once a day.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with too much calcium in their blood, those with unexplained systemic inflammatory diseases, or those with kidney diseases. Additionally, individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe kidney failure should avoid taking this medication. While taking this medication, do not take medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids together. Infants under 1 year of age, patients undergoing treatment by a physician, children exposed to a lot of sunlight, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding mothers, premature infants, infants, patients with heart or circulatory problems, patients with kidney impairment, patients with low protein levels, patients on digitalis glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5; individuals allergic to this ingredient should use it cautiously. If nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rashes occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Moreover, overdose may cause gastrointestinal symptoms, swelling, heart problems, etc., so caution is needed. Long-term use may increase the risk of elevated calcium levels in the blood or stones, thus regular check-ups are necessary. In particular, caution should be taken when taking it in combination with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, which may increase blood potassium levels. Adhere to the recommended dosage, and parental supervision is needed when administering to children. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Store this medication out of reach of children and keep it sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Also, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
