This medication is used to improve symptoms of mental function decline such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

As gingko biloba extract, take 240 mg once daily, 1 tablet per dose. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains gingko biloba extract as the main ingredient and is contraindicated in certain individuals. Individuals with allergies to gingko biloba extract or any other ingredients in this medication should not take it. There is insufficient research on safety in children and adolescents, so it should not be used by those under 18 years of age. It is also advisable for pregnant women to avoid this medication. Additionally, it contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic disorders should not take this medication. This medication should not be taken concurrently with drugs such as anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication may influence drug metabolism enzymes in the liver, which can change the effectiveness or duration of other medications. Caution is needed if taken with calcium channel blockers or oral theophylline as it may alter blood levels of the medication. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that increase bleeding should consult a doctor. Due to the risk of bleeding, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours before any surgical procedures. Side effects such as nausea, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, skin rashes, and severe allergic reactions have been reported. There is a risk of bleeding with long-term use, thus caution is advised.
