Relief of hyperhidrosis (armpits, hands, feet)
This medication is used to treat excessive sweating, known as hyperhidrosis, occurring in specific areas such as the armpits, hands, and feet.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area in the evening and wash it off with water the next morning. Use once every night until sweating stops, and reduce the frequency to 1-2 times a week if symptoms improve.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients. When using this medication, do not apply it to skin that has been shaved or to damaged or irritated skin within 12 hours. Additionally, do not use depilatories on the affected area within 12 hours before or after using this medication. Care must be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, or other mucous membrane areas; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using this medication. Although aluminum ingredients are not easily absorbed through the skin, there are reports from animal tests that suggest reproductive effects. Women who are breastfeeding should also consult a professional before using this medication and should avoid contact with the chest area. If contact occurs, it should be washed thoroughly before breastfeeding. For children under 12 years of age, safety and efficacy are not established, so consultation with a professional is necessary before use. If unusual reactions such as skin irritation, itching, rash, or redness occur during use, stop using immediately and consult a professional. Excessive use of this medication can lead to severe skin irritation; if ingested, symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and burning sensation in the mouth and throat may occur, so rinse the mouth sufficiently and follow medical instructions. This medication reacts with water to produce hydrochloric acid, so the treatment area must be completely dry before application, and care must be taken to apply only to the treated area, avoiding direct contact with clothing or metal. During storage, due to sensitivity to light, it should be kept in a container that blocks light. Additionally, it is important to store it in a cool place below 25 degrees centigrade to maintain its efficacy.
Irritation at the application site, including contact dermatitis, pain, itching, erythema, rash, and skin burning sensation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, burning sensation in the mouth and throat, increased severity of skin irritation, erythema (redness), desquamation (peeling of the skin).
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not use this medication on the affected area within 12 hours before or after using depilatories.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that blocks light. Additionally, to maintain the medication's effectiveness, it is important to store it at a cool temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
