How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older: 1 to 3 times a day, taking 1 to 2 capsules at least 4 hours apart. Should be taken on an empty stomach.

Child dose

Ages 11 years and older to under 15 years: 1 capsule 1 to 3 times a day at least 4 hours apart. Ages 8 years and older to under 11 years: 1 capsule 1 to 2 times a day at least 6 hours apart. Take on an empty stomach.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three servings of alcohol a day, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. People with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use this medication cautiously or avoid higher doses. Those who have had allergic reactions or asthma triggered by this medication, as well as infants under 3 months old, should not take it. It should not be used in conjunction with other antipyretic analgesics, cold medications, or sedatives. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, or those with liver, kidney, thyroid diseases, elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms like rash, itching, nausea, abdominal pain, dizziness, or swelling occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. For children, use under adult supervision and only administer to children under 2 years old after consulting a doctor. It is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage and not to take it for an extended period. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, and if severe skin reactions occur, discontinue use immediately. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children, and it is advised not to transfer it to another container.

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor → symptoms of anaphylactic shock (hypersensitivity shock). High fever combined with severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, and pain in oral/eye mucous membranes → mucocutaneous syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome). Asthma. Coney syndrome (cardiovascular symptoms associated with coronary artery contraction which may lead to myocardial infarction).

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (congestion and flushing), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, discomfort in the abdomen, dizziness, swelling (edema), polymorphic erythema, exfoliative dermatitis, photosensitivity reactions, drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS syndrome), acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), metabolic acidosis
