If urine output decreases, facial or hand-foot swelling, heavy eyelids, stiff hands, rising blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. While taking this medication, it may increase the risk of side effects when taken with potassium or licorice-containing medications, or certain diuretics, so caution is required. If allergic symptoms, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, headaches, constipation, or dry mouth occur, stop taking and consult a professional, as rare instances of palpitations or liver function abnormalities may arise. Strict adherence to the prescribed dosage and usage is essential, and if symptoms do not improve after two weeks of use, discontinue and consult a professional. Avoid continuous usage for a prolonged period, and patients with a history of kidney disease must consult before use. Patients at risk for lipid overload should check their blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage if necessary. This medication should preferably not be combined with gastrointestinal pain relievers or antispasmodics. It should not be used in children, especially those under 15 years old, and women who are pregnant, potentially pregnant, or breastfeeding should also avoid use.
