How to take

Adult dose

As ginkgo biloba extract, take 240 mg once daily, 1 tablet. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains ginkgo biloba extract as its active ingredient and may cause allergic reactions in some individuals; therefore, it should not be taken by those who are hypersensitive to its ingredients. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently studied in children and adolescents under 18 years of age; hence, it is recommended that individuals in this age group do not take it. Pregnant women should refrain from using this medication considering potential effects on the fetus. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take this medication. When taking this medication, it is important not to use it in conjunction with anticoagulants and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as this may increase the risk of bleeding. Additionally, this medication may affect various drug metabolism enzymes in the liver, which can alter the efficacy or duration of other medications. Caution is needed when used with specific calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Individuals with bleeding disorders, those at high risk for bleeding, nursing women, and those with epilepsy must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Discontinue this medication at least 36 hours before surgery. The duration of treatment should be maintained for at least 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve after 3 months, consult a doctor.
